Hole 1
The shortish opening hole sets up the golf course perfectly. This hole allows a player many club options off of the tee. The fairway bunker on the left shapes this dog leg right for the slightly uphill second shot. This green is well bunkered with two bunkers on the left and one on the front right.

Hole 2
This hole has multiple tees available for the player. This “split tee” look allows the player to play the hole from many different angles depending on hole location. The green is flanked with bunkers both front right and left but with room for lower shots to be “bounced” to a mid-sized green. Club selection is key based on wind.

Hole 3
Is the longest Par 4 on the front-nine. The tee shot plays down hill to a fairway that is protected by a fairway bunker on the right side that turns the hole nicely. The second shot is played uphill to a large green with a beautiful view of the ACC clubhouse. Given the length of the hole there is ample space to run a shot up onto the green.

Gently bending to the left and uphill, number four is another par 4 that offers plenty of difficulty on each shot. This is the only hole on the golf course with one bunker. This bunker guards the left side of the green. Hitting the fairway is crucial to your ability to play into this green that is tilted from back to front.

This middle length par 4 again allows the player club selection options off the tee. Avoiding the trees to the right of the fairway is a must for any player wanting to get a good look at the second shot that plays uphill. Another well-bunkered green with another beautiful view of the Clubhouse.

This slightly downhill par 3 plays to a deep green guarded by a left and back right greenside bunker. The back left “Sunday Hole Location” is guarded by the clubs largest water feature and can be accessed by the slope in the middle of green as well as through the air. Adequate room in the front allows for players to get to all areas of the green.

The seventh hole plays uphill and doglegs left to right. The best positioned tee shot is between the fairway bunker left of the fairway and a grouping of trees on the right. This green features many hole locations as the green is semi divided by the front pot bunker. Playing from long of the green makes par a tall order.

The second of ACC’s right to left holes is aided with the prevailing Southwest wind. The Water Tower in the distance is a good line for tee shots. Finding the fairway is the highest priority for playing into a green that moves with slope and prevailing wind shaping from front right to back left.

The first Par five of the day presents a good opportunity for birdie for the longer hitters. For the players needing to lay up, focus your second shot left of the Oak that lies 90 yards from the green along the right side of the fairway. This well bunkered shallow green will accept a precise long shot. The hole location should dictate how players navigate the final hole of the front nine.

The first hole of the back nine provides many options off the tee. Aggressive longer players are welcome to “let ‘er rip” while navigating a lake and bunker on the right and trees and a poor angle into the green on the left. A more conservative player will play from the tee short to the widest part of the fairway. The uphill second shot plays to a deep green with subtle breaks.

Is the longest Par 4 on the golf course. The tee shot plays up hill into the prevailing wind. The bunker through the fairway is “just for show” for most players. The second shot features a precisely struck middle to long iron played to a green with bunkers flanking the front left and right. If more club is needed use the opening in the front of the green to run up a longer second shot.

The second of A.C.C.’s Par 5’s presents a good opportunity for a birdie, however you better mind your “P’s” and “Q’s”! The tee shot plays down the hill and moves left to right with the contour of the fairway. Decision making is the name of the game on the second shot. Playing short of the pond that crosses the fairway leads to a much more difficult third into the green, playing over the pond brings a tight landing area into play with the two Fairway Bunkers. The small green complex again will yield birdies for quality shots.

This hole is straight as a Crow Flies, but players are encouraged to play their tee shot towards the tree that sits in the left half of the fairway. There is plenty of room left of the tree. This narrow, deep green allows for shots to be played on the ground onto the green from the fairway.

This “beefy” dog leg right Par 4 plays into the prevailing wind. Longer players should play to the right side of the “aiming” fairway bunker while shorter hitters should stay left and use the contour of the fairway to find the middle of the fairway. The second shot plays uphill to a green guarded with a bunker on the right side. Make no mistake, chipping from left of the green presents a great challenge.

Number sixteen provides many club options for the right to left tee shot. A conservative play towards the fairway bunker from the tee will leave players a short iron into a green. A well-placed long tee shot will leave players with a shorter wedge shot to a small well protected green.

ACC’s longest Par 3 has multiple tees, but all require a long shot to be played down the hill. This large green allows for shots being played to the front of the green to release towards back and middle hole locations. This green is pitched from back to front and left to right. Par is a good score!

The closing hole is a straight Par 5. A tee shot needs to be placed between the bunkers on the right and the trees on the left. Your lay up shot should be placed short of the pond left of the green. If you choose to go for the green in two, you will need to hit an accurate shot between the greenside front right bunker and the pond. This deep green slopes from back to front and right to left.
